Welcome to iDesign iCreate iInnovate, the home of anything and everything creative. My name is J Henderson better known as Mr.BluJ, and I attend the Art Institute of Dallas. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, with a concentration in Web Design and Interactive Media. I have a strong passion for New Media, and would like to share my interests as I develop my skill set within my field. I launched this blog to connect with professionals, students, and anyone whose interested in New Media.
What is iDesign iCreate iInnovate?
I am very passionate about New Media, and the potential growth that it has is HUGE! I have a desire to learn each and everyday about new technologies, concepts, and designs related to any and everything. The first year of my collegiate career was at the University of Louisiana – Lafayette studying Architecture. My time at the school was truly a unique and special experience. I developed a pure passion for design and creativity as a whole. I also established many professional connections and friendships with in the student community. I will never forget a speech in which my Instructor let us know that many of us would not complete the program curriculum.
I shall forever remember his lecture that insisted that as students we had the power to effect human emotion and thought. As students we had to DESIGN critical abstract models and from that CREATE human emotion, and then we must take from our research and mold an INNOVATIVE product. I have held that to be quite true, and from that lecture, I have developed the title of this blog and my slogan!!
What Can YOU Expect?
I can promise you that this blog will explore alot of possibilities within the realm of digital media. The content in which I shall post will be gears toward, Web Design and Development, Graphic Design, Video Production, and Social Media. I also hope to give vital feedback on innovative ideas and thoughts for the creative community. My blog posts will incorporate interactive media such as polls, video, and contests.
You can tune in every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to see my podcast about the unique happenings in online media. I have a live web show, in which I hope to interact with my subscribers on a weekly basis. Topics shall include weekly discussions, interviews, and live phone call-in’s. I want the vlog to be quite interactive. If your interested in viewing the live broadcast, it shall take place every Sunday Night on BluJConceptsTV at 7pm CST.
